Sunday Sep. 15: Departure Day
The day had arrived - the shakedown cruise for the fifth wheel. Had everything prepped and hitched up the fifth wheel. A little nervous since it had been three years since I had done it last. But we got it done, it hooked up and locked in.
Destination - Wagon Trail Campground, Door County Peninsula, Wisconsin; 252 miles.
The drive was uneventful and the weather was nice. There was an issue with a bridge being out on Hwy 57 but we made it without any issues. Arrived roughly 6:00 PM and the pull-through site 214 was still reserved for us. Pulled right in and set up with no problems. Grilled some dinner on the portable grill and Lodge grill plate, worked great, tasted great. Basically passed out after that. First official RVing day - COMPLETED!
